Connect Microsoft OneDrive to sync contracts automatically to DealView.

Prerequisites

Before connecting:

  • Microsoft 365 or personal Microsoft account
  • OneDrive access with contracts to sync
  • Admin permission in your DealView workspace

Connecting OneDrive

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Find Microsoft OneDrive and click Connect
  3. Sign in to your Microsoft account
  4. Grant DealView permission to access OneDrive
  5. Click Accept to complete the connection
Permissions Requested

DealView requests read-only access. We can only view files you select for syncing, not modify your OneDrive.

Selecting Folders

After connecting:

  1. Click Configure on the OneDrive integration
  2. Browse your OneDrive folders
  3. Check folders containing contracts
  4. Click Save

SharePoint Integration

OneDrive for Business includes SharePoint access:

  • Team sites and shared libraries are visible
  • Select SharePoint folders just like OneDrive folders
  • Permissions from SharePoint are respected
SharePoint Permissions

You can only sync SharePoint folders you have access to in Microsoft 365.

Sync Settings

Configure sync behavior:

SettingOptions
Auto-syncEnabled/Disabled
FrequencyEvery 15 min, hourly, daily
File TypesPDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT
Include SubfoldersYes/No

How Sync Works

  1. Initial sync - All existing files are imported
  2. Ongoing sync - New/changed files sync automatically
  3. Deleted files - Stay in DealView (audit trail)

Multiple Microsoft Accounts

Connect multiple accounts if needed:

  1. Complete first connection
  2. Click Add Another Account
  3. Sign in with different credentials
  4. Configure separate folders

Each account's folders are labeled with the account name.

Handling Shared Files

Files shared with you appear in:

  • Shared with me folder
  • Team OneDrive folders
  • SharePoint document libraries

These can be selected for sync like any other folder.

Troubleshooting

Connection failed?

  • Ensure you're signing into the correct account
  • Try in an incognito browser window
  • Check Microsoft 365 admin hasn't blocked third-party apps

Files not syncing?

  • Verify folders are selected in configuration
  • Check file types are supported
  • Wait for next sync interval

Missing recent files?

  • Sync may have a delay (up to sync frequency)
  • Trigger manual sync in integration settings

Disconnecting

To remove the connection:

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations
  2. Click Disconnect on OneDrive
  3. Confirm disconnection

Your Microsoft account permissions are revoked. Previously synced contracts remain in DealView.

Security

Your OneDrive connection is secured by:

  • OAuth 2.0 authentication
  • Encrypted token storage
  • Read-only access
  • Revocable at any time
